    Overall there’s no difference, you just import the export file from the old site.

    You can’t import the blog to a specific page though, in WordPress Pages are just another form of content, like Posts.

    You’ll have to import all of the posts from the old blog into their new home, and if you want them to be separate, you’ll then have to categorize each. The categories listing would then serve as what you were thinking of for this separate page.

    On second thought, it might be a lot easier to categorize the posts on the old site with a unique category before exporting, since it’ll be easier to bulk-select items there.
