Will changing the URL of existing pages cause any issues (in database, etc.), by Ronnie55

I know this is awful for SEO. I’m only doing it on sales pages.

Sometimes I roll out/test a new sales page, and want to redirect all my traffic to that new page.

So if my sales page URL slug is http://www.website.com/my-sales-page … I will create a new page to test, take the old sales page and change URL to something like /my-sales-page-old1 , and then make the new page I’m testing have the URL that traffic goes to (www.website.com/my-sales-page).

Just curious if doing this for a few months will cause issues in WordPress database.

Soon I’ll switch to proper A/B testing software, but for now, this is what I do.
