Two questions about phpmyadmin backup process, by seriouswpcues

i am trying to run phpmyadmin and create a backup of my WP site like described here in the “Custom backup process” section of this WP tutorial:

    https://codex.wordpress.org/Backing_Up_Your_Database

Question 1) But I am unsure whether, on step 6 of the instructions, if I am supposed to choose the Add CREATE DATABASE / USE statement option or not. The instructions on https://codex.wordpress.org/Backing_Up_Your_Database seem to show to *NOT* select that option on step 6 in the “Object creation options”, but when I was getting some support help from a technician at my web-host, they told me that I *do * need to select that Add CREATE DATABASE / USE statement option on step 6 in the “Object creation options”.

Question 2) Also, whenever I am in my phpmyadmin , whenever I see on step 5 where I am supposed to have options at the bottom, “Structure and data”, I do not have that option in my phpmyadmin. That support technician at my web-host said all I need to do in order to save a backup is do this:
    `Add DROP TABLE / VIEW / PROCEDURE / FUNCTION
    Add IF NOT EXISTS
    Add AUTO_INCREMENT value
Enclose table and field names with backquotes
Save as file >> File name template (1): MyDatabase_Backup > Compression choose – zipped.
After that you need to click on ” Go” button.’
But, I just want to make sure I save the right file in the right way, so in case I have to restore it, that I do this all correctly.

My support technician at my web-host, *has* already saved the .zip file that is the entire back-up for me, but as I am going to soon be upgrading a website to having an SSL, and then trying to use a plugin to replace all of the http://example.com to https://example.com in my WP site, in case something goes wrong, I don’t want to lose my website. I want to be able to load a backup. And I am just unsure that this .zip holding the master SQL backup that my support technician at my web-host has already done for me and saved for me will, in fact, “replace” correctly. This is a considerably small site; the .zip file is only 3.5MB . This WP site is very basic, too: all I do is type “Posts” now and then, and the only plugins I use are Akismet, Yoast SEO, Wordfence Security Free, ; and I use the default basic Twenty Seventeen Theme, and am using WordPress version 4.9.4 .

I’m just really nervous about this SSL upgrade, still, and the “better search replace” plugin that I am going to be using to change the http://example.com to https://example.com on my site will all work correctly. I am afraid that the SSL installation will finish, I will attempt to change the http:// to https:// , and then all of a sudden, the plugin either doesn’t work, or for some reason, my site just does not load.
