Fixing this requires two parts: First, rename the directory of the plugin you just downloaded. That will deactivate the plugin, which insures it will not break your site again when the .htaccess file is fixed. After your site is back up, delete the renamed directory so you don’t accidently activate the plugin in the future.. Second, you’ll need to restore the correct AddHandler or SetHandler line in the .htaccess file.
