Do you understand how CSS works? If not, there’s a good tutorial here. You also need to learn how to use a web developer tool. Both Firefox and Chrome come with developer tools built in. For each, you would right-click on an element that you wish to examine, then from the pop-up menu, you select Inspect element. The DevTool will open up a pane at the bottom of your browser. The left side of the pane shows a representation of the structure of the page, and the right side of the pane shows the CSS rules which affect the element that is highlighted on the left. So what you would do is highlight (click) the line on the left which corresponds to the web element, then look at the rules on the right and find the rule which has the property you want to change. To override that rule, just copy the selector and use that as part of your overriding rule.
