    Sorry for the slow reply. You can still use such sidebar plugins on a main page by replicating the widget output on a custom WP page template. It will not be a simple copy/paste solution, you’ll need to resolve how to deal with passed widget attributes which are not available to pages. In most cases you can hardcode attribute values since it will be specific for your site.

    A plugin is most useful for most viewed data because WP does not track this by default. For most commented, that can be queried from the current DB without a plugin. I’m not sure offhand what query would work. If you want to code your own query, look at existing plugins for how they manage this query.

    I’m not sure how a “most closed” post would be defined. Posts are generally closed only once, how could one be closed more frequently? Or maybe the translation from zalikannye is not accurate in this context?
