WordPress fix Reply To: Can’t get to log-in page – error

    It appears that a piece of wordfence is missing.

    Via FTP or from your hosting control panel

    1. edit .htacess and remove these lines:

    # Wordfence WAF
    <Files ".user.ini">
    <IfModule mod_authz_core.c>
    Require all denied
    </IfModule>
    <IfModule !mod_authz_core.c>
    Order deny,allow
    Deny from all
    </IfModule>
    </Files>

    # END Wordfence WAF


    2. delete the file .user.ini

    Note that both files are hidden files. You may have to enable “view hidden files” in cpanel or your FTP program.

    Once your site is working again, check your Wordfence settings.
