Need help with botched restore, by hank3rd

I had an issue where I wanted to use a certain plug in and it requires a newer version of PHP, which the hosting the site was on did not support. Godaddy said that they could move me to a new host service, but the old would be removed. I did an XML backup, but they removed the server before I could do a full back up.

I was able to use the XML to pull over there blog text content. That is all I need is the blog stuff since the old site was custom and the WP was installed into the /blog directory to be used as a blog.

I was also able to have Godaddy restore the old hosting, but the WP site is not accessible via the web to do another XML backup. I downloaded all the items int eh WP content folder and uploaded it to the new site via FTP. I used the XML and it added the main image and text, etc, but not the media galleries. I even used a find replace to replace the http://www.unitedriggingnycom/blog with http://www.unitedriggingnycom/. That is how I got the main images to work.

Given that I have the XML file and access to the files via FTP, is there anything I can do?
