Image URL request from frontend, by iwantthatroom

I know this is a bit of a silly question but I just needed someone to support this.

Someone has suggested that a URL request by a browser showing up in a URL audit log is admin uploading an image in the backend of the site. I have told them the https://12.wp.com is caused by a function from a plugin (Jetpack), and that (resize=1080%2C675&ssl=1) indicates the sizing and security certificate of the image.

    Image URL – https://i2.wp.com/www.iwantthatroom.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/shutterstock_459781222.jpg?resize=1080%2C675&ssl=1

    Post URL – https://www.iwantthatroom.com.au/bali-waterfalls/

I have advised them that this is simply the browser requesting the image URL and following the URL path to access the image to display.

They have told me that they are being advised by an “IT expert” and that I am wrong.

Can someone please view frontend requests (as I have already done) and support my advice, or even expand if you want.

    Thanks guys!
