Hiding Certain Pages Within Page Attributes -> Parents Dropdown, by azurift

    Greetings!

I’m currently in the midst of populating an information-based WordPress site with pages. The end goal won’t have too many pages — we’re looking at just under 1,000 total — but I was wondering if it’s possible to hide a page from showing up in the page attributes parent dropdown menu? The reason for why I want this is because I know that certain pages will never be a parent, and I would like to keep the dropdown menu as clean as possible so that my client doesn’t have to wade through hundreds of pages to find the parent he wishes to link a certain page to.

I’m open to solutions via code modification, but if you happen to know of a good plugin that does this, or at the very least adds in more functionality to the parent dropdown menu, please let me know!

    Thanks!
