    FTP Connection Information, by darcyepw

I’m trying to update my WordPress on all three of my domains, but every time I try to update or upload or delete any files I am asked for my FTP connection information. I know I’m entering the correct information because I just got off the support chat with my Arvixe server folks (NOT VERY HELPFUL), but I get an connection error every time. I am asked to provide the following:

    Connection Information
To perform the requested action, WordPress needs to access your web server. Please enter your FTP credentials to proceed. If you do not remember your credentials, you should contact your web host.

    example: http://www.wordpress.org
    FTP Username
    FTP Password
This password will not be stored on the server.
    Connection Type
    FTPS (SSL)

The Arvixe guy suggested that maybe it wouldn’t connect because I have exceeded my allowed number of files. What do I do???
