    Footer appears on top of other footer, by pokercouch

    In the theme I use only one footer area for widgets was included, so I tried to add another. I use a child theme so my additions below were made there.

    In functions.php I added this:

    function my_custom_sidebar() {
    array (
    ‘name’ => __( ‘Testagain’, ‘your-theme-domain’ ),
    ‘id’ => ‘custom-side-bar’,
    ‘description’ => __( ‘Custom Sidebar’, ‘your-theme-domain’ ),
    ‘before_widget’ => ‘<aside id=”%1$s” class=”widget %2$s”>’,
    ‘after_widget’ => “</aside>”,
    ‘before_title’ => ‘<h3 class=”widget-title”>’,
    ‘after_title’ => ‘</h3>’,

    In footer.php I added this:

    <?php if ( is_active_sidebar( ‘custom-side-bar’ ) ) : ?>
    <?php dynamic_sidebar( ‘custom-side-bar’ ); ?>
    <?php endif; ?>

    I have a new footer area, but it´s placed on top of my other area instead of above as I would like it. What should I do to manage that? Is there some CSS that I need to add?
