Deleting the First User (Owner?) of the site., by zydanielson

I’m a little confused about the most powerful role on my site. I’ve read about Super Admin but that role doesn’t seem to exist on my WP. The first user created when I installed WP has a role of Administrator. I’m not really wanting that user in my user list any longer.

    So here’s the big question:
If I create another user and give it the role of Administrator, can I then safely delete the original (first) user I created the site with? Will I lose any capability or anything crucial for total control of my WP installation if I do this?

I come from a Joomla background, where it isn’t possible to delete the original user. Or, if you manage to do it, certain problems can result from it.

I want to get rid of my original (first) user, but I don’t want to cause myself any problems with total site management.

    Please advise.

Deleting the First User (Owner?) of the site.
