WordPress Speed Up Service | WordPress Website Maintenance Packages Adding WWW – There must be an easy way!, by aubreyw Wordpress defaulted my new site to a naked domain without the www. In Settings it currently appears as https://peepsprout.com and I cannot pull up the site from browsers using any other format. I want to be able to pull up the site using http://www.peepsprout.com and peepsprout.com – basically anything a person might type to get to my site. I tried changing the url in the WP Settings but I locked myself out of my admin and had to get help getting back in. The support guys at my hosting company attempted to force www. redirection through .htaccess file in my public_html directory, but all they got was a 404 error. I’ve been reading all over the internet and seen various ways suggested of adding www, but I don’t know which method I should use (don’t want to lock myself out or mess things up again). Can someone tell me – what is the easiest way to add www for a total WP beginner like me? Adding WWW – There must be an easy way!
