    Hy guys,

I have a question and thanks a lot if you anser me.

So I am new to wordpress template develoment and I do not understand how can it be that, I open in my templates main folder an index.php file (wordpress/wp-content/themes/my_theme/index.php) and without having included any other file - where the functions of wordpress have been defined, like the_title() or the_content() and so on... - , we can call this pre-written functions.

So I mean if you want to use jquery functions, you need to include jquery into your html file. Or if I define some php functions in a file called mother.php and I want to use them in an other file, I need to include mother.php into my current php file.

But here in the case of wordpress, I dont see from where/how it's pre-written functions are coming from.

Thanks a million for your answers
