Hi, I am noticing that each time I build a site, after I run it through GT METRIX, I get an F score every time, on YSLOW as well. And its always the same things:

    Enable gzip compression
    Leverage browser caching
    Optimize images
    Minify CSS
    Defer parsing of JavaScript
    Minify JavaScript

YET - when I go to the site, they load pretty quickly for me, and then I see a conflict with pingdom, which gives me a "B" score. I am running into issues with my clients who YELP and YELLOW PAGES are giving them this F SCORE and they come back to me to fix these things, I am pretty new to this. No matter what themes I use, always same issues. Any suggestions how I can fix, any steps I should take?

    Thanks much

    Lee

Hi..You need to read all the recommendation that is given on Gtmetrix, you will leanr... it is quite comprehensive... If you are using wordpress, that u can install total cache, a few more plugins......and they will fix most of the issues... Gtmetrix helps you to speed up your site but from the browser site. You will need to make some change to .htaccess file
