WordPress Speed Up Service | WordPress Website Maintenance Packages This is more about whether i’ve been doing it wrong all these years. For bespoke site builds i always build the theme from scratch using a ‘framework’ of my on making which i add to over time. I then go back when updates are needed and tweak, but usually once the site has been designed and built its over to the client to decide what happens to it. Should i really be using child themes at this point, or just stick to one theme for each site build as only a few elements are the same? If i do have a parent theme how would i even update it and send the updates to other sites, would it mean submitting it to the WordPress theme library or can i store and send updates from my own hosting?
